New Ducati 2012 NCR M4 The M4, NCRs new lightweight street legal motorcycle, delighted the crowds today at the 7th annual Barber Vintage Festival. The international unveiling took place at 1:15 pm at the NCR Center located in the Ducstock area between turns 13 and 14.
Also true to NCR form, you better start saving now if you like what you see here because the NCR M4 isn’t going to be cheap. The 107hp, 84 lbs ft of torque, 286 lbs, NCR M4 comes complete with carbon fiber parts like its tank, wheels, instrument cluster, airbox, oil cooler housing, and fenders. Also a part of the basic package are NCR’s in-house billet triple clamps, fork bottoms, & rearsets. Brembo monoblocks and Öhlins suspension come as standard as well, and help the NCR M4 to have an MSRP of $49,900, with delivery in Spring 2012 (US market only, other markets TBA).
Beginning with a trellis-style frame constructed of titanium tubes and weighing just 10.6 pounds, NCR adds to the mix a titanium subframe and a bevy of carbon fiber bits, including its fuel tank, airbox, fenders, BST wheels and various covers, housings and brackets. The end result is a Ducati Monster-esque machine tipping the scales at an incredible 286 pounds (claimed) including oil and battery. The fuel tank holds 3.45 gallons, bringing total curb weight to 307 pounds.
The NCR M4 One Shot comes with a NCR Ducati 1200 air-cooled EVO motor complete with billet stroker crank, titanium connecting rods, titanium hardware throughout and NCR-EVR slipper clutch. The NCR M4 One Shot produces 132 hp at 8,700 rpm, torque of 105 ft-lbs of torque (143 Nm) and a weight of 278 lbs (126 kg) and has a MSRP of $69,900 US plus applicable taxes, shipping and dealer preparation (for the US market).
